Slow WiFi is almost never fixed by buying more bandwidth. In the sites we survey, the cause is nearly always design: access points in the wrong places, radios turned to full power, neighbouring channels fighting each other, or a network sized for a quarter of the devices now connecting to it. Our enterprise WiFi deployment service in Kenya fixes the design first.

For new installations we build a predictive model from your floor plans, including wall materials, ceiling heights and the number and type of devices expected in each area. The model shows where access points should go and what coverage and capacity to expect before anything is mounted, so the bill of materials is right the first time. For existing networks we run passive and active surveys and spectrum analysis to find dead zones, interference and misconfiguration.

High density spaces such as lecture halls, conference rooms, hotel lobbies, hospitals and stadiums need capacity planning as well as coverage, and roaming has to be tuned for voice calls and handheld scanners that move through a site. We configure WPA3 Enterprise and 802.1X for staff, isolated guest networks with branded captive portals, and per user policies, and design for WiFi 6 and 6E today with a path to WiFi 7.

After installation a validation survey confirms the network performs as designed, and channels and power are tuned room by room. You receive predictive and post installation heatmaps, configurations and a short report on capacity headroom. Because our engineers also secure networks for a living, the wireless network is segmented from your critical systems and monitored, rather than left as an open door into the business.

Hotels and schools often ask us to fix guest WiFi complaints without replacing everything. In many cases a survey shows that repositioning access points, adjusting power and channels and separating guest and staff traffic solves most problems with the equipment already installed. When new hardware is needed, the survey tells you exactly how much and where.

Questions about Enterprise WiFi

Can you fix our existing WiFi?

Yes. A troubleshooting survey usually reveals the cause, such as poor placement, channel overlap or interference, and we fix it with the equipment you already own where possible.

Can you survey a building that is still under construction?

Yes. Predictive design works from architectural drawings, so cabling and mounting points can be planned before walls and ceilings close, which is far cheaper than retrofitting.

How many access points will we need?

It depends on floor area, walls and especially the number of devices. A predictive design answers this accurately before you buy, which usually costs far less than guessing and adding access points later.
